CURRENT S&T / RESEARCH - Provide laboratory services, advice, interpretation and support clients in Environment Canada, Provincial and Territorial counterparts and agencies
- Manage PNLET, Ecotoxicology Laboratory (National Centre of Specialization for Microbial Identification) and research services to support the Water Science and Technology Directorate priorities
- Provide a wide variety of analytical services, advice, interpretation and recommendations to managers, inspectors, researchers, and field staff within Environment Canada
- In co-operation with other government agencies, participate in the development of projects concerning the presence (or absence) of toxic substances in the environment
- Performs comprehensive forensic laboratory investigations as a designated analyst under Canadian Environmental Protection Act (CEPA) and Fisheries Act
