CURRENT S&T / RESEARCH - Assessing risks to Canadians and their environment posed by pollutants or other harmful or dangerous substances; Working to help Canadians adopt sustainable consumption and production approaches

  • Generating data on persistence of DSL micro-organisms in soil
  • Optimizing and validating test methodologies to evaluate microbial consortia and communities
  • Developing DNA microarray for the detection of terrestrial pathogens and DSL micro-organisms
  • Developing method end points for the assessment of soil microbial toxicity
  • Investigating the use of toxicogenomic assays for the assessment of soil toxicity
